MELKUS C4060

MELKUS C4060 is an advanced AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) designed to perfectly complement your fleet of stationary robots. Unlike traditional AGV vehicles, these models do not require physical floor markings. Thanks to SLAM navigation, they move intelligently by creating a real-time map of their surroundings.

The availability of 9 complete units (robot + charging station) from 2020 enables full automation of intralogistics operations or inter-process transport within a production facility.

Key Features and Intelligent Solutions

• Euro-container dimensions: The name C4060 directly refers to the standard KLT container dimensions (400 × 600 mm). The robot is designed to fit perfectly underneath such containers or shelving systems.
• SLAM navigation: Equipped with laser scanners, the robot autonomously avoids obstacles and people. If an obstruction appears in its path, it does not simply stop (like older AGVs) but dynamically searches for an alternative route.
• Safety system: Fitted with professional-grade laser scanners, ensuring safe operation in shared environments alongside human workers, in compliance with industrial safety standards.
• LiFePO₄ power system: Lithium iron phosphate batteries offer a very high number of charging cycles and enhanced safety (no risk of thermal runaway). Fast automatic charging enables near-continuous operation.
